Mixing modern viticultural research with classic winemaking traditions, Chateau Ste. Michelle enjoys international acclaim for its world-class Chardonnays, Merlots and Cabernet Sauvignons. Chateau Ste. Michelle was named "American Winery of the Year 2004" by Wine Enthusiast Magazine and "2005 Winery of the Year" by Restaurant Wine Magazine. Columbia Winery also offers a David Lake Signature Series of fine wines that include the state's first Syrah. Visit www.columbiawinery.com.

Hedges Cellars

Using grapes grown in the Red Mountain area at the extreme eastern end of the Yakima Valley, Hedges Cellars crafts flavorful Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with an intense deep color, bold aromas, and surprising richness, balance, strength and age worthiness. The winery also produces an excellent Fume, Cabernet Franc and Syrah, which can be sampled in their Issaquah tasting room. Visit www.hedgescellars.com.
